FAQ

Artificial turf questions, answered.

Everything homeowners ask us about cost, installation, heat, pets, maintenance and warranty. Don’t see your question? Just ask.

Cost & financing

How much does artificial turf installation cost?

Lawn installation starts at $5.99 per square foot and putting greens start at $9.50 per square foot, including about 2 inches of base, seaming and infill. Minimum projects are $2,000 for lawns and $2,500 for putting greens. Turf choice, demolition, drainage and borders affect the final price — your free quote is itemized.

Do you offer financing?

Yes. Through our partner Hearth you can see personalized offers in minutes without affecting your credit score, with options including no money down and 0% interest for up to 21 months for qualified buyers. Loans go up to $250,000.

Are estimates really free?

Yes. Quotes, on-site measurements and samples are free with no obligation.

Why does turf come in 15-foot widths, and how does that affect my price?

Our turf rolls are 15 feet wide, and the grain must run in the same direction across the whole lawn. An area of 20′ × 13′ is priced as 20′ × 15′ to account for roll width and cutting. We lay out every project to minimize waste.

Installation

How long does installation take?

Most residential projects take 1–3 days once materials arrive. Large or complex projects (slopes, drainage, pavers) may take longer; your quote includes a schedule.

What does your installation include?

Removal of existing grass and roots, grading, about 2 inches of compacted base, weed barrier, turf, seaming, nailing, infill and a final power-brush. Borders, drainage, dirt haul-off and gopher wire are available as needed.

Do you install turf on slopes, side yards and rooftops?

Yes. We install on slopes, narrow side yards, patios, balconies and rooftops, with the right base or attachment method for each surface.

Which areas do you serve?

We install throughout Southern California — Orange County, Los Angeles County, the Inland Empire (Riverside and San Bernardino counties) and San Diego.

Turf & care

Does artificial turf get hot?

All turf warms in direct sun. Our cooling technology uses UV-reflective 3D blades that run noticeably cooler than standard turf, and a quick rinse cools it further on very hot days.

How do I maintain artificial grass?

Rinse it occasionally, blow or rake off leaves, and brush high-traffic areas every few months to keep blades upright. Pet owners can use an enzyme cleaner as needed.

How long does artificial turf last?

Our turf is lab-tested for durability, fading and premature wear and is manufactured to last — backed by a 16-year warranty.

Can I see the turf before I buy?

Absolutely. Visit our Huntington Beach showroom or request samples with your free quote and we’ll bring them to your consultation.

Pets & families

Is artificial grass safe for pets and kids?

Yes. Our turf is 100% pet safe, soft underfoot and free of the mud, pesticides and fertilizers natural lawns need.

Will pet urine make my turf smell?

Not when it’s installed right. Pet turf drains quickly, and odor-control infills like Zeofill neutralize smells. Rinse occasionally in hot weather.
